CONCIERGE EOR PAYROLLING FOR ONE OF THE LARGEST PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRMS IN THE WORLD

A global leader in advisory services sought a payrolling partner to improve onboarding for its contingent workforce. With a proprietary talent marketplace in place, they aimed to streamline operations and support supplier diversity while maintaining a top-tier candidate experience.

THE CHALLENGE

A global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, utilises a large contingent workforce, including executive-level advisors, marketing and IT consultants, project managers, and customer service representatives. The company leverages a sophisticated internal direct sourcing recruitment approach using its proprietary talent marketplace technology to match contract workers with consulting roles.

While the recruitment strategy ensured access to a pool of high-quality candidates, it was important to the company’s recruitment team to ensure the selected candidates had a best-in-class onboarding and employment experience with external partners to maintain its reputation as an employer of choice in the market. To that end, the company sought a new payrolling partner that could offer a high-quality experience with streamlined operations while supporting their corporate initiative of treating supplier diversity as a social and business priority.

THE SOLUTION

After a thorough and competitive sourcing exercise, the accounting firm determined that Atrium was well-suited to meet their needs. The partnership began early in 2020, with Atrium providing payrolling services for the company’s internal consultants. By the end of 2020, the partnership expanded its scope with Atrium being entrusted to employ consultants engaged in projects for external organisations.

Through a concierge model supported by a dedicated team, Atrium supports the company with the complex requirements of the company’s diverse Contingent Workforce population. Atrium strategically engages with the company’s recruiters, Hiring Managers, and consultants, while providing high-touch support and operating as an extension of the company’s brand. Additionally, as a woman-owned, WBENC and MSDUK-certified firm, Atrium enables the company to achieve its Tier 1 Supplier Diversity spend goals.
